When does the state season start?
The season will kick off on October 1, 2019 for single point races. The first SCR weekend will be held at Jacksonville BMX on November 9 & 10, 2019
How do I qualify for the Florida State Series?
Race in a minimum of eight (8) single point races and three (3) SCRs, also race the SCF. Single-point races must be raced between Oct 1, 2019 and April 12, 2020.
I live out of state, can I participate in the series?
Any USA BMX rider can race in the Florida State Series providing they race the required minimum races in the state of Florida.
I want to race in the Pro-Am, but do not want to race Class.
In order to race in the Pro-Am, an amateur rider must also race in Class.
How do I qualify for the Race of Champions (ROC)?
Rider finishing top ten in their age group will qualify. Riders can race the ROC in the age and skill level they will be on Aug 31, 2020.
I run a team, can we run teams at the State Championship Series races?
Yes, there are two categories of team racing, Trophy and Money. Team packets are available.
How do number plates work?
Riders in all skill levels can earn state plates (Novice, Inter, Girl, Expert, Cruiser, Girl Cruiser). Riders will be plated through the depth of the class (eg..14 riders compete in the seres, 14 plates will be awarded.)
